Appledore Book Festival 2019
2019 dates = 20th - 28th September
The lovely village of Appledore hosts this hugely popular literary festival, which was founded in 2006 by Nick Arnold, the author of the Horrible Science books.
Since then, Appledore Book Festival has become the biggest cultural festival in Devon, attracting brilliant authors, speakers and artists for everyone to enjoy.
The charities aim is to increase the enjoyment of reading and encourage creative writing by providing access to inspirational events.
Details for 2019 are still yet to be released, but 2018 headliners included Michael Palin, Jeremy Vine, Anthony Horrowitz and Harriet Harman.
We'll be keeping an eye out for the 2019 event throughout the summer!
