North Devon villages we can't help but love
It's wonderful to see a selection of lovely North Devon villages appearing in a news article from our umbrella company Brend Hotels.
In their news piece, they've taken a look at 15 must visit Devon villages that people can't help but fall in love with. Some you may have heard of, some may have passed you by, but we agree that the featured North Devon villages rightly deserve to be included: Croyde, Lee, Braunton, Clovelly, Hartland, Woolacombe, Instow and Appledore
Each village is unique and special, to both locals and holidaymakers alike. When holidaying in the region they all offer different sights and things to do.
For instance: Woolacombe and Croyde are famous for being the surfer's paradise, popular for having beautiful beaches and vibrant village centres.
Meanwhile, Lee is tucked away off the main roads and is often overlooked because of its remoteness.
Braunton is a hub of activity, a gateway to other key locations.
Hartland's small village is surrounded by the dramatic cliffs and coastal escapes the Hartland area is famous for. Clovelly is next door, tumbling down the hills - a place full of history and cobbled streets.
Then there's Instow and Appledore, facing each other across the estuary water, one with an inland beach, the other with colourful houses and a big fishing heritage.
Whatever it is you look for in a village, visit all of these locations when staying with us at The Royal Hotel to get a true sense of what life is like in North Devon.
